The Lullaby Project is a transformative initiative that empowers parents facing challenging circumstances, including those with experience of the criminal justice system, asylum seekers, and refugees. By collaborating with professional musicians, mums, dads and grandparents we create personalised lullabies that express their love, hopes, and dreams for the children and young people in their lives. These unique songs help to strengthen family bonds and provide a source of comfort that can be treasured forever.
Originally developed by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute, the Lullaby Project has been enriching lives in the UK since 2017 in partnership with the Irene Taylor Trust and RPO Resound. Expanding its reach in 2024-25, the project will be working with individuals in the Redditch, Manchester, Hull, London, Peterborough and Reading.
We are grateful to the RCB Foundation and Arts Council England for their generous support, which enables us to continue providing these meaningful experiences to these families.
