Featuring a live orchestra of 25 musicians performing a range of music in ways you would never have imagined, RPO Relaxed Performances are specially designed events for anyone who would prefer a more relaxed environment to a traditional concert setting. At Relaxed Performances we extend the warmest possible welcome to a broad range of audience members, including Disabled adults, people with dementia or other neurological conditions, autistic spectrum condition, sensory differences, anxiety, and those with young children or babies.

Including interactive elements, close-up interactions with RPO musicians, BSL interpretation, and gentle sensory elements, this performance is truly relaxed, so attendees are free to enjoy the concert without worry. At Relaxed Performances everyone is encouraged to respond as they want to, be that by singing, dancing, moving about, taking a break in one of the designated quiet spaces, or just listening quietly. At the end of the concert, the audience are invited to take part in additional activities offering a range of musical interactive experiences led by RPO musicians.

RPO Relaxed Performances are our most inclusive concerts offering brilliant music for everyone to enjoy in their own way.
