The Colours of Music: Live
What does music look like?
Snapchat and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) have collaborated to create a brand new Snapchat lens that explores what music might look like.
The Colours of Music Lens is the first-ever augmented reality experience that translates music into colours and shapes. Inspired by chromo synaesthesia, a phenomenon that causes sensory crossover, including seeing colours when hearing music, Snapchat’s AR Studio has developed a 3D AR representation of the notes played live by an instrument.
At this exclusive free launch, you can hear three musicians performing and see this augmented reality experience at work live.
So come along, grab a snack and a drink, courtesy of Snapchat, and be among the first to experience this brand-new technology – no phone needed!
The Weston Roof Pavillion is located on Level 6 of the Royal Festival Hall
