Support a position in the Orchestra and join an exclusive club of like-minded people.
As a registered charity, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is truly grateful for the support of individuals, families, companies and foundations who play a crucial role in helping the RPO bring outstanding orchestral experiences to the widest possible audience.
Membership of the RPO Chair Partner Programme is one of the ways through which our benefactors and sponsors support the Orchestra and we are thrilled that the Programme now has forty-four supported positions and was recently featured in the Financial Times.
The RPO Chair Partner Programme provides the opportunity to be associated with one of the Orchestra’s musicians and have your name, or that of your family, company or foundation connected with that position. Funds raised via the Programme help support the RPO’s artistic and outreach ambitions; in return Chair Partners enjoy a close association with the Orchestra and its musicians, becoming an important part of the RPO family.
Membership of the Chair Partner Programme is on an annual basis and donations can be made monthly via Direct Debit. The suggested minimum donation for a Tutti string player is £750 per annum (£67.50 per month), rising to £2,500 per annum (£208 per month) for a Principal position.
RPO Chair Partners enjoy access to an array of exclusive features and opportunities, including advance information on future seasons, complimentary and discounted concert tickets and programmes, invitations to private receptions and of course opportunities to meet their musician. All our Chair Partners are acknowledged in RPO own-promotion concert programmes and on the Orchestra’s website.
