Verdi Requiem - An Interview with Helena Dix
The Royal Albert Hall renews its acquaintance with one of the world’s greatest choral works when Verdi’s Requiem, which received its UK premiere at the hall in May 1875, is performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 20 November.
Conducted by Jac van Steen, the musicians of the RPO are joined on the famous stage by the City of London Choir and Brighton Festival Chorus, plus a quartet of star soloists including the acclaimed Australian soprano, Helena Dix.
