Second Violin
Charles Nolan has played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) for thirty years, having started learning the violin at the age of nine at the Byron Court School in Wembley.
Growing up, the RPO formed a significant part of his musical life, as from an early age he was able to attend rehearsals and gain inspiration from watching his father, who played in the Orchestra for forty years and worked with the likes of Deep Purple, The Beatles, Pavarotti and Yehudi Menuhin.
Performing in local youth orchestras, Charles went on to join the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and a gain a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London.
