Adrian Lee Describes a Positive Future for Disabled Musicians
This February, RPO Resound is delighted to be collaborating with visually impaired musician, composer and creative leader Adrian Lee as they once again join forces with the Royal Society for Blind Children for an exciting music project for young people with vision impairments.
Adrian, a founding member of The British Paraorchestra, will work alongside Workshop Leader Natasha Zielazinski and musicians from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) to inspire young people from all musical backgrounds to produce and perform brand new music on the theme of “Telling Our Story”.
Welcome to New Cellist Jean-Baptiste Toselli
We are delighted to welcome Jean-Baptiste Toselli on No.5 Cello.
After studying the cello with Etienne Peclard, Jean-Baptiste Toselli joined the class of Marc Coppey and Ysaye Quartet in Paris. In 2007, he studied with Louise Hopkins and had coaching with Belcea Quartet at Guildhall School of Music and Drama of London from where he graduated with distinction.
Before joining the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Jean-Baptiste Toselli has played for the National Paris Opera, National Orchestra of Bordeaux, National Orchestra of Ile de France, and was also guest principal cello for the Pau Orchestra and the Paris Chamber Orchestra.

Classical music will soon be more accessible for everyone after the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra announced that Lowestoft will be one of its principal residencies.
The prestigious group of musicians have been the resident Orchestra at the Marina Theatre since 2005. But now, along with their hugely popular live performances, the Orchestra will ensure its work extends beyond the concert stage – with a developed community and education programme run by RPO Resound.
